Visitors climb through the famous Lion's Gate — a stairway flanked by enormous lion paws — passing exquisite ancient frescoes of celestial maidens (the Sigiriya Damsels), before reaching the mirror wall and finally the breathtaking summit palace ruins with 360° panoramic views.
